1953 NCAA tennis championships
The 1953 NCAA tennis championships determined the national champions in men's singles, doubles, and team tennis. This 42nd edition was held June 22–27, 1953 in Syracuse, New York, at the Drumlins Country Club on the Syracuse University campus. Syracuse University hosted the event, directed by athletic director Milton R. Howard, with Perry Rockafellow of Colgate as the official referee. A total of 72 players entered the singles draw and 30 doubles teams participated, representing 31 universities.
Champions:
- Men's singles: Ham Richardson (Tulane)
- Men's doubles: Robert Perry and Lawrence Huebner (UCLA)
- Men's team: UCLA (their third title)
