Stratonice (wife of Antigonus)
Stratonice was the daughter of Corrhaeus, a Macedonian noble. She married Antigonus I, the king of Asia, and they had two sons: Demetrius Poliorcetes and Philip, who died in 306 BC.
In 316 BC she helped negotiate with Docimus, who was trapped with Perdiccas’ followers in a Phrygian fortress. She persuaded him to leave his stronghold and had him captured.
After the Battle of Ipsus, she fled Cilicia with Demetrius to Salamis in Cyprus in 301 BC. She probably died there, since there is no later mention of her when Cyprus came under Ptolemy’s control.
