The Moonie Highway is a state highway in Queensland, Australia. It is about 293 kilometers long and is part of State Route 49. The road runs from Dalby in the east, where it meets the Warrego Highway, to St George in the west, where it meets the Carnarvon Highway.

Along the way, the Moonie Highway connects with the Leichhardt Highway near the Meandarra Talwood Road. It passes through farming country and areas with oil and gas activity, and it goes near several forests and parks.

The main towns along the route are Moonie and Westmar. From Dalby, the broader State Route 49 continues northeast as the Bunya Highway, while the route ends at St George, where it links to the Balonne Highway.

The Moonie district’s first European settlement began around 1849 with a station named Weranga. A historic road, Old Moonie Road, runs parallel to the Moonie Highway from Weranga to near Westmar. The name Westmar comes from joining WESTern and MARanoa.
