Peters Glacier (Brooks Range)
Peters Glacier is a glacier in Alaska’s Arctic National Wildlife Refuge. It sits on the west side of Mount Chamberlin, a tall peak at the eastern end of the Brooks Range (Mount Chamberlin is 8,901 feet or 2,713 meters high). The glacier was named in 1959 by the U.S. Air Force Cambridge Research Center after nearby Lake Peters. It is located in North Slope Borough. Coordinates: 69°16′51″N 144°57′23″W. The current status of the glacier is unknown.
