Braunsia (plant)

Braunsia is a small group of succulent plants in the Aizoaceae family, native to the Western Cape region of South Africa. The plants grow slowly and reach about 20 cm tall. They have opposite leaves that come in pairs, and their flowers are pink to magenta. Braunsia prefers a dry period most of the year and only needs water in late fall to early spring. There are seven accepted species in this genus.
