Read Russia Prize is a biennial award for translating Russian literature into foreign languages. Since 2011, it is run by the Institute for Literary Translation with support from Rospechat and the Boris N. Yeltsin Presidential Center. The prize honors translators (or teams) whose translated works were published by a foreign publisher in the previous two years. There are four prize categories, with winnings up to $10,000 shared between the translator(s) and the publishing house(s).

The goal of the Read Russia Prize is to popularize Russian literature abroad, encourage foreign translators and publishers, and strengthen cultural ties between Russia and other countries. A panel of leading translators, scholars, and critics selects the winners, and the Board of Trustees includes prominent Russian government, cultural, and public figures. Recent winners include Antony Wood for Alexander Pushkin's Selected Poetry (Penguin Random House) and a Special Mention for Robert and Elizabeth Chandler for Vasily Grossman’s Stalingrad (Harvill Secker and New York Review Books).
