KYTC (FM)
KYTC (102.7 FM), branded as “Super Hits 102.7,” is a radio station licensed to Northwood, Iowa, serving northern Iowa and southern Minnesota. It broadcasts a classic hits format and is owned by Connoisseur Media through Alpha 3E Licensee LLC. The studios are in eastern Mason City, with the transmitter located near the Iowa–Minnesota state line in Worth County.
History highlights
- Signed on October 15, 1990, as an oldies station created by Northwood businessman Marlin Hanson, initially at 3,000 watts (later 6,000).
- Sold to Three Eagles Communications in 1999; power increased to 25,000 watts in 2000.
- In 2005, the oldies format moved to KRIB, and KYTC carried KRIB’s country format as “Eagle Country KY 102.7.”
- Switched to active rock as “102.7 The Blaze” on November 12, 2007.
- On February 3, 2012, flipped to classic hits as “Super Hits 102.7.”
- Digity purchased the station in 2014; Alpha Media acquired Digity in 2016.
- On June 5, 2024, began airing Westwood One’s Classic Hits full-time after staffing cuts at Alpha Media; several on-air staff were reassigned.

- The station has sister stations KGLO, KIAI, KLSS-FM, and KRIB.
- In 2025, Connoisseur Media announced intent to acquire Alpha Media; the sale was approved by the FCC in August 2025 and completed in September 2025.
