1888 Indianapolis Hoosiers season
The Indianapolis Hoosiers played in the National League during the 1888 season. They finished with 50 wins and 85 losses, placing seventh in the league. They played their home games at Athletic Park in Indianapolis, Indiana. The team was owned by John T. Brush and managed by Harry Spence.
Before the 1888 season, on October 20, 1887, Gid Gardner and cash were traded to the Washington Nationals for outfielder Paul Hines.
