Şebnem Dönmez, born May 17, 1974 in Salzgitter, West Germany, is a Turkish actress and TV presenter. She began as a model and made her TV debut in 1992 on TRT with a motorsports show. Since then she has hosted and appeared in many TV programs and acted in Turkish films and series. Her first international film was The Net 2.0, shot in Istanbul. She also performed on stage in Noises Off (Oyunun Oyunu) by Michael Frayn. She was married to film director Ezel Akay from 2004 to 2007.
