The Çatalan Bridge, also called the West Bridge, is a 1,575-meter-long reinforced concrete bridge in Adana, Turkey. It crosses Seyhan Dam Lake and carries two lanes of Göl Kenarı Road, connecting Adana with villages to the north of the lake. The bridge is named after the Çatalan Dam, 14 kilometers upstream on the Seyhan River. Construction began in 1998 and it opened on 17 June 2002. It was the longest bridge in Turkey from 1998 to 2007, and the longest bridge crossing a body of water in Turkey until 2016. It was built by a group of companies—Lurgi Bamag, STFA, and ALKE—and is maintained by the Turkish General Directorate of Highways.
