Limoges, Ontario
Limoges is an unincorporated community in Eastern Ontario, in Prescott and Russell United Counties, about 35 kilometers east of Ottawa. The east and north parts are in The Nation Township, while the west part is in Russell Township. It’s just off Exit 79 of Highway 417, between Casselman and Embrun, near Larose Forest. The main road is Limoges Road.
Limoges is home to Calypso Park, Canada’s largest water park, along with Limoges Self Storage, Oasis Mini Golf, and the Kittawa camping site. The local economy is small; most residents shop in nearby Embrun or Casselman, and the town’s grocery option is a dépanneur-style store.
According to the 2016 census, Limoges had a population of 2,048, up about 18.9% from 2011. The town covers about 1.22 square kilometers.
