Zura Barayeva
Zura Barayeva (died 26 October 2002) was the wife of Chechen warlord Arbi Barayev. She was killed during the Moscow theater hostage crisis in October 2002, where she led a group of women militants. A former hostage described her as seeming very normal, masking her feelings with courtesy. She appeared to take pleasure in being in control and in people listening to her, and she would ask others if they had children. She often said, "Everything will be fine. It will finish peacefully." She reportedly removed her bomb belt and carried it over her shoulder, calm and relaxed.
