Yuriy Smoloviy

Yuriy Vasilyevich Smoloviy (born 9 April 1970) is a water polo player who has represented both Russia and Kazakhstan. Born in Volgograd, he is 1.96 m tall and weighs 118 kg. He played as a centre forward. He competed in three Olympics: for Russia in 1996, and for Kazakhstan in 2000 and 2004. At club level he played for Lukoil-Spartak in Russia.
