Yun Tusŏ
Yun Tusŏ (윤두서, 尹斗緖; 1668–1715) was a Joseon-era painter and scholar. He was the grandson of the famous Yun Sŏndo. Although he passed the gwageo civil service exam, he did not enter government service and devoted his life to painting and studying Confucianism. He used the art name Gongjae and the courtesy name Hyoeon. His self-portrait is considered a Korean masterpiece, and he was known for yeongmohwa, paintings of animals and birds. He belonged to the Haenam Yun clan.
