Digital Unlocked
Digital Unlocked is a Google-led program created with the Indian School of Business and the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology to boost digital awareness and help small businesses and startups in India go online. It was announced by Google’s CEO Sundar Pichai during his visit to India in January 2017.
The program offers training for small and medium-sized businesses to use the Internet to grow. It uses online, offline, and mobile formats. Offline training is run in partnership with the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI) and ISB. Learners can set their own goals, and the program suggests courses to help them achieve those goals. They can also take additional courses on topics they’re interested in. The courses cover a wide range, from using digital media and online opportunities to advanced tools that can help businesses. A certificate is awarded to those who complete all courses and pass the final assessment.
