Mission Santa Teresa de Ádid, sometimes called Santa Teresa de Átil, is a historic Spanish mission near the town of Atil in Sonora. It began as a visita of Mission San Pedro y San Pablo del Tubutama. In 1701, Jesuit missionary Eusebio Kino started a ranch at Santa Teresa. The first priest there was Jesuit Gerónimo Minutuli. On February 3, 1768, King Carlos III ordered the Jesuits expelled from New Spain. Later that year, Franciscans arrived to take over the mission.
