Yuliya Fomenko (swimmer)

Yuliya Fomenko (born 14 January 1981 in Azov, Rostov Oblast) is a retired Russian swimmer who specialized in backstroke. She represented Russia at the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney, finishing 10th in the women’s 4×200 m freestyle relay. She also competed at European championships, swimming the 200 m backstroke at the 1998 European Short Course Championships in Sheffield and at the 1999 European Long Course Championships in Istanbul.
