Plot
A newlywed couple, Rahul and Rani, get lost on their way to Kandala and spend the night in a spooky bungalow. Rani is possessed by an unknown force and kills Rahul. More couples heading to Kandala disappear, drawing the attention of journalists Manish and Shivani. They, along with Rasmalai, a young girl who warns them not to stay in the house, also get trapped in the bungalow.
Manish is possessed and dies, while Shivani is attacked. The Mumbai police send Inspector Vikram, helped by the commissioner’s daughter Neelu, their servant Khiladi, and parapsychologist Professor Chawla, to investigate. They learn from Rasmalai that the bungalow belongs to D’costa and that his daughter Ruby D’costa is behind the disappearances.
Ruby’s ghost possesses the women who stay in the house and makes them crush their boyfriends’ bones; when the possession ends, the victims die. D’costa explains Ruby’s backstory and pleads for mercy. Neelu is briefly possessed again but is calmed with Chawla’s hypnosis. Vikram confronts Ruby, who warns she may kill again that night. Eventually, Ruby agrees to leave, and the team discovers that the bodies are buried outside the bungalow. In the end, Khiladi marries Rasmalai, and they live happily.
