Linda Lee (born July 3, 1979) is a U.S. politician and nonprofit leader on the New York City Council, representing the 23rd district in far eastern Queens. A Democrat, she took office on January 1, 2022, succeeding Barry Grodenchik. She grew up in Oakland Gardens, Queens, the daughter of South Korean immigrants. Lee has a BA from Barnard College and an MSW from Columbia University. Before entering politics, she was the President and CEO of Korean Community Services of Metropolitan New York. Her campaign focused on more services for seniors, stronger police accountability, and workforce training to help the economy recover after COVID-19. She became the first Asian American woman to represent the district. Because of planned redistricting, her term is two years instead of four. Her district office is in Oakland Gardens. In December 2024, she voted against the City of Yes housing rezoning plan.
