XECB-AM
XECB-AM is a radio station on 1460 AM in San Luis Río Colorado, Sonora, Mexico. It simulcasts with XHDY-FM 107.1 and is branded as Radio Ranchito, with a Regional Mexican format. It is owned by Radio Grupo OIR (Radio Impulsora de San Luis, S.A. de C.V.) and has sister stations XHLBL-FM and XHSLR-FM.
The station first aired on October 20, 1950. The call sign XECB honors Carlos Blando, the original concessionaire. XECB is a Class B station broadcasting with 10,000 watts by day and 250 watts at night. The transmitter is located at 32.46083°N, 114.81694°W.
XECB began on 1450 kHz at 250 watts, later increasing to 1,000 watts by the 1980s. It was sold to the current concessionaire in 1994. On November 13, 2002, it moved to 1460 kHz with higher power.
