Tommy Oar (Thomas Michael Oar) is a retired Australian footballer who played as a midfielder. He was born on 10 December 1991 on the Gold Coast, Queensland. He came through youth clubs Burleigh Heads, Palm Beach and the Queensland Academy of Sport before making his professional debut with Brisbane Roar in 2008.

Oar then moved to Europe to play for FC Utrecht in the Netherlands from 2010 to 2015, making over 100 appearances. He spent a season with Ipswich Town in England in 2015–16, returned to Australia with Brisbane Roar in 2016–2017, then played for APOEL in Cyprus (2017–2018), Central Coast Mariners (2018–2020) and Macarthur FC (2020–2022). In total he played 253 club games and scored 9 goals.

Internationally, Oar earned 28 caps for Australia and scored 2 goals. He played for Australia at the 2014 FIFA World Cup and was part of the Asian Cup squads in 2011 (runner-up) and 2015 (champions). He also played for the Australia under-20 team at the 2009 and 2011 FIFA U-20 World Cups, with his 2011 goal being named Goal of the Tournament. He retired in 2022 and now works as a TV football pundit.
