Wyantenock State Forest
Wyantenock State Forest is a Connecticut state forest located in the towns of Warren, Kent, and Cornwall. It covers about 4,083 acres (16.52 square kilometers) and sits around 1,355 feet (413 meters) in elevation. Established in 1925, it is managed by the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection. The forest is made up of nine scattered parcels and was originally part of Mohawk State Forest. Today, it is one of the least visited and least developed state forests, with little or no public access.
