Águeda (river)
Águeda is a river in the Iberian Peninsula. It starts in the Serra das Mesas in Spain and flows about 130 km to join the Douro River near Barca de Alva, Portugal. The Portugal–Spain border runs along much of the river. The Douro river system ends in the Atlantic Ocean. The Águeda drains about 2,537 square kilometers and has an average discharge of about 197 cubic meters per second.
