Wortham is a small census-designated place in St. Francois County, Missouri, United States. It covers about 0.9 square miles (2.3 km2), almost all land, and had a population of 197 in 2020. The community was first planned in 1904 under the name Cherrytown. A Wortham post office operated from 1925 to 1969, and the town was named after Ray Wortham, an early postmaster.
