Woodshop (workspace)
Woodshop is a place to work with wood. People use it to cut, shape, join, and finish wood to make things. You can find woodshops in schools, community centers, makerspaces, factories, garages, and homes. They usually have hand tools, power tools, and machines for cutting and shaping wood. In schools, woodshop classes teach how to use tools, measure carefully, plan projects, and work safely. In makerspaces and fab labs, woodshops are places where hobbyists and small businesses share skills. Woodshops can be dangerous: there are sharp blades, dust in the air, and loud noise. It’s important to get proper training, wear protective gear, and follow safety rules.
