Winrock International is a nonprofit that aims to increase economic opportunity, protect the environment, and conserve natural resources. It is based in North Little Rock, Arkansas and Washington, D.C., and has been a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization since March 1985.

The organization is named after Winthrop Rockefeller, the 37th governor of Arkansas, who founded Winrock Enterprises and Winrock Farms in 1953 to test farming methods that others could copy. After his death, trustees formed the Winrock International Livestock Research and Training Center. In 1985, that center merged with two other Rockefeller foundations—the Agricultural Development Council and the International Agricultural Development Service—creating Winrock International.

Winrock works in four main areas: agriculture, economic development, energy and environment, and human and social capital. Most of its funding comes from the U.S. government, especially USAID. One notable program was the Forestry and Natural Resource Management Program, which in 1995 absorbed the Nitrogen Fixing Tree Association and became the Forest, Farm, and Community Tree Network (FACT Net) in 1996; FACT Net ended in 1999, but its materials remain online.

In 2023, Winrock reported revenue of about $118.5 million, expenses of about $119 million, and an endowment of around $83.6 million. Website: winrock.org.
