Mary Friday
Mary Friday is an Australian wheelchair basketball player in the 1-point class. Born in Nigeria, she moved to Australia as a child and now lives in Perth, Western Australia. She played for the Australian women’s team, the Gliders, at the 2020 Tokyo Paralympics, where they finished ninth after winning the 9th-10th place game. She helped Australia win silver at the 2019 Women’s U25 World Championship and also played in the 2019 Osaka Cup. Her coach is Brad Ness.
