Wayne Dobbs

Wayne Dobbs (June 12, 1939 – February 10, 2015) was an American college basketball and baseball coach. He played basketball at Oglethorpe University from 1958 to 1961. Dobbs was the head basketball coach at Belmont University (1964–1966), George Washington University (1967–1970), and Vanderbilt University (1976–1979). He also served as an assistant at George Washington (1966–1967) and Vanderbilt (1970–1976). In addition, he coached Belmont’s baseball team in 1965–1966. Dobbs passed away on February 10, 2015, at the age of 75.
