Walter H. Wheeler Jr. (1897–December 11, 1974) was an American businessman and sailor. Born in New York, he earned the Croix de Guerre in Paris in 1918 with the U.S. Ambulance Corps and the Navy Cross in 1919 for his work as a submarine chaser. He captained Harvard's football team and, during World War II, worked with the War Production Board.

Wheeler joined Pitney-Bowes in 1919 and led the company as president from 1938 to 1960, then as chairman until he retired in 1973. Under his leadership, Pitney-Bowes grew to about $384.9 million in annual revenue by 1973. He helped introduce the first mass-market postage meter and new mail-processing equipment used by the Postal Service. He also served as honorary chairman and director emeritus.

As a sailor, Wheeler steered his yawl Cotton Blossom IV across the Atlantic. He was a member of several groups, including the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.
