Walnut Creek Ranger Station, also known as Walnut Creek Work Center, sits in Prescott National Forest near Prescott, Arizona. Built in 1931 by the Civilian Conservation Corps, it reflects the Bungalow/Craftsman style designed by U.S. Forest Service architects. It has served as housing and office space for forest service staff. The site was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1993 for its architecture. The listing covers two contributing buildings on about 5 acres. The residence follows standard plan A-5 (a four-room bungalow with a side-gabled roof and two porches; the dormer is omitted). The barn/garage/shop was built to standard plan C-10.
