Wai, Nepal
Wai is a remote area in Bajura District, far western Nepal. It used to be a Village Development Committee (VDC), but now it is part of Swamikartik Rural Municipality in Sudurpashchim Province. The old Wai VDC had wards 1 to 9, which have been merged into Ward 4 and Ward 5 of Swamikartik Rural Municipality. The people living there come from communities such as Chhetri, Kami, Brahmin, Damai, Sarki, and Limbu. Wai is located at about 29.48°N latitude and 81.75°E longitude.
