Vivien Lyra Blair
Vivien Lyra Blair (born June 4, 2012) is an American child actress. She started acting in 2017 with Band Aid and became famous for Bird Box (2018), where her character and her family must stay blindfolded to hide from deadly monsters.
She also appeared in the video game Telling Lies (2019) and played Guppy in We Can Be Heroes (2020), where she did her own stunts. In 2022 she portrayed a young Leia Organa in Obi-Wan Kenobi, earning praise for capturing Carrie Fisher’s spirit. She was nominated for a Saturn Award for Best Performance by a Younger Actor in a Streaming Television Series for Obi-Wan Kenobi. She also played Emily Gradstone in Dear Zoe (2022), a film based on a young-adult novel.
In 2023 she acted in The Boogeyman as Sawyer, a girl whose family is terrorized by a monster; critics praised her performance and she received a Saturn Award nomination for Best Younger Performer in a Film.
Personal life: Blair’s parents are musicians. She has been vegetarian since birth and has practiced Taekwondo since age five. In 2019, at six years old, she became the youngest spokesperson for PETA.
