Virginia State Route 149
State Route 149 (SR 149), also called Princess Anne Road, is a short primary state highway in Virginia. It runs 1.92 miles (3.09 km) in Virginia Beach from SR 165 (Princess Anne Road) east to near where Princess Anne Road meets General Booth Boulevard in Nimmo. The western end is in the Princess Anne area, where the city offices and courthouse are. SR 165 goes northwest toward Norfolk and southwest toward Chesapeake. SR 149 is a two-lane road that passes a residential area and swampy land, crossing West Neck Creek. It ends just before Princess Anne Road widens to four lanes. At the end, Princess Anne Road continues south toward Knotts Island, North Carolina, and General Booth Boulevard heads northeast toward the Virginia Beach Oceanfront. The whole route is in Virginia Beach.
