Vince Lateano (born 1942) is an American jazz drummer from Sacramento, California. He grew up in a family of musicians and started playing trumpet in the fourth grade, then switched to drums in the ninth grade. After serving in the US Army, he moved to San Francisco in 1966. He joined Cal Tjader's band in 1978 and played with Tjader until his death in 1982, appearing on six of Tjader's albums. Lateano has also performed and recorded with other notable jazz musicians, including Woody Herman, Vince Guaraldi, and Stan Getz. He works as a drummer and percussionist.
