The 1877 FA Cup final was a football match between Wanderers and Oxford University on 24 March 1877 at Kennington Oval in London. It was the sixth FA Cup final and the first to feature two former winners, with Wanderers as the defending champions and Oxford having won the competition in 1874.

Oxford took the lead in the 15th minute when Wanderers’ goalkeeper Arthur Kinnaird accidentally stepped behind the goal line with the ball, scoring an own goal. Wanderers equalised late in normal time when Jarvis Kenrick scored after a run by Hubert Heron. With the score level, the match went to extra time, where William Lindsay scored the winner for Wanderers about seven minutes in, making it 2–1.

The weather was poor, with rain and sleet affecting play. For many years the official record showed the score as 2–0 because Kinnaird had disputed the Oxford goal, but in the 1980s historians and the FA reinstated the Oxford goal, so the official final score is now considered 2–1 to Wanderers.
