Viktor Guz
Viktor Aleksandrovich Guz (16 January 1971 – 9 October 2023) was a Russian football goalkeeper and coach. Born in Prokhladny, he stood 1.94 meters tall. He spent most of his playing career with Torpedo Volzhsky, making 194 league appearances from 1991 to 1998. He also played for Rotor Volgograd, Volgar-Gazprom Astrakhan, Gazovik Orenburg, Dostyk Shymkent, Aktobe, Kosmos Yegoryevsk and Zhetysu Taldykorgan in Russia and Kazakhstan. After retiring as a player, Guz worked as a coach at several clubs, including Saturn Moscow Oblast, Zhemchuzhina-Sochi, Tyumen, Spartak Nalchik, Torpedo Moscow, Tom Tomsk and Tom-2 Tomsk, among others. He died on 9 October 2023 at the age of 52.
