Vickery-Baylies House

The Vickery-Baylies House is a historic wooden house at 56 Summer Street in Taunton, Massachusetts. Built in 1830, it is a 2½-story Greek Revival home that was likely built by a local mill owner.

It is one of only two large Greek Revival houses that still survive from that period in Taunton, the other being the Tisdale-Morse House. The Vickery family owned the house for much of the late 19th century; Charles Vickery was a merchant and banker in Taunton and the son of a ship’s captain. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on July 5, 1984.
