Vertine, Gaiole in Chianti
Vertine is a small village in Tuscany, central Italy. It is a frazione of the comune Gaiole in Chianti, in the province of Siena. The village sits about 505 meters above sea level and covers 0.58 square kilometers. As of 2011, 22 people lived there, giving a population density of about 38 per square kilometer. The area uses Central European Time (UTC+1) and Central European Summer Time (UTC+2) in summer. The coordinates are 43°28′11″N 11°25′3″E (roughly 43.46972°N, 11.41750°E). In 2001 the population was 31.
