Veaceslav Ioniță (born 4 October 1973) is a Moldovan economist and politician. He was born in Strășeni, then part of the Soviet Union. He studied at the Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova and now teaches in the Social Management Department there. He also works as an economic expert for the Institute for Development and Social Initiatives (IDIS Viitorul) and has written many pieces on public administration, public finances, and fiscal decentralization.

Ioniță served as a Member of Parliament from 2009 to 2014 with the Liberal Democratic Party and has been associated with the Alliance for European Integration. He is married to Irina.
