Valaxa (Greek: Βάλαξα) is a small Greek island in the Sporades. It lies southwest of Skyros and is part of the Skyros municipality in Central Greece. The island covers about 4.3 square kilometers and rises up to 100 meters. Its southern tip, Latomeio Point, has a flashing lighthouse to guide ships. Nearby islands are Erinia to the west and Skyros to the north and east. As of 2001, Valaxa had no permanent residents.
