Daulatrao Aher

Daulatrao Aher (1 November 1943 – 19 January 2016) was an Indian medical doctor and politician from Maharashtra. He belonged to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Aher served as a Member of Parliament in the 9th Lok Sabha, representing Nashik from 1989 to 1991. He later served as the Minister of Public Health, Family Welfare, Medical Education and Drugs from 1995 to 1999. Born in Deola, Nashik, he worked as a medical practitioner. He was married to Alka and had a son named Rahul Daulatrao Aher. Aher passed away in Nashik on 19 January 2016 at the age of 72.
