University Alliance of the Silk Road (UASR) is a non-profit global network of universities linked to China’s Belt and Road Initiative. Based at Xi'an Jiaotong University in western China, it serves universities worldwide.

Founded in 2015 with about 100 member universities from 22 countries, UASR has grown to 132 universities in 32 countries and regions across five continents. Its mission is to promote educational collaboration and support economic growth along the Silk Road Economic Belt through training, joint research, policy work, cross-cultural understanding, and medical services. The alliance includes an international group of law schools that aims to boost exchanges of legal knowledge among member countries and develop a shared legal framework to support Belt and Road development. UASR also hosts international cultural events such as the Educational Exhibition and Cultural Festival. The headquarters are at Xi'an Jiaotong University’s China Western Science and Technology Innovation Harbor, a center designed to promote collaborations, talent education, research, and international think-tanks.
