Universitas Indonesia railway station

Universitas Indonesia Station (UI) is a commuter railway station in Pondok Cina, Beji, Depok, West Java, Indonesia. It sits on the eastern edge of the University of Indonesia campus, between Pondok Cina Station and Universitas Pancasila Station. The station has two ground-level tracks and two side platforms. The canopies at UI form a “T” shape, unlike some other stations on the route which have a “Y” canopy.

UI is served by the KRL Commuterline on the Manggarai–Padalarang railway (Bogor Line). Trains run between Bogor and Jakarta Kota, and many riders are University of Indonesia students or local residents. The station code is UI. It is owned by Kereta Api Indonesia and operated by KAI Commuter, and is classified as Class I. The station is inside the campus, so crowds peak during campus entry and exit times. There is no parking at the station, but a Yellow Bus stop is about 50 meters away for campus shuttle rides between faculties.

Ticketing: Since August 1, 2019, single-trip THB tickets are no longer sold at this station (and several others) to reduce queues. Most passengers use multi-trip cards or electronic money, though you can still tap in and out with THB at UI Station.
