Uncial 0297
Uncial 0297 is a Greek uncial manuscript of the New Testament, numbered 0297 in the Gregory-Aland system. Dated to the 9th century, it contains small parts of the Gospel of Matthew on two parchment leaves (about 33 by 25.8 cm). The text is written in two columns per page, with 25 lines per page, in uncial letters. It is a palimpsest, with an upper text that is a menaion. The manuscript is currently dated to the 9th century by palaeographic analysis (INTF). It is housed at the British Library (Additional Manuscripts 31919, folios 105 and 108) in London, and contains Matthew 1:1-14 and 5:3-19.
