Ulla Löfven
Ulla Margareta Löfven (born Arvidsson on 29 May 1951) is a Swedish politician and trade unionist. She is married to Stefan Löfven, the former Prime Minister of Sweden and former leader of the Social Democrats. She was born in Stora Malm Parish, Södermanland, Sweden.
Ulla met Stefan Löfven in 1992 at Hägglunds & Söner, where he worked as a welder and she represented a local trade union. She already had two children from her previous marriage to Sten Johansson. They married in November 2003. Before Stefan became party leader in 2012, Ulla worked as the assistant to Carin Jämtin, the party secretary of the Social Democrats.
Stefan Löfven served as Prime Minister from October 2014 to November 2021, making Ulla the Prime Minister’s spouse during that period. She has two children from her first marriage.
