UNIAN runs UNIAN TV, a channel with news, analysis, documentaries, sports and movies, available on satellite, cable and IPTV. It broadcasts unencrypted from the AMOS-2 satellite (4.0°W) on 10722 horizontal, 27500. The channel’s General Producer is Vladyslav Svinchenko.
In August 2013, reports said that UNIAN leadership locked in editors who had spoken about censorship and forced them to move from the site department to the TV news monitoring department, an action journalists described as punishment and a sign of censorship.
