UEFA Euro 2000 qualifying play-offs

UEFA Euro 2000 qualifying play-offs were the last round of qualifying for Euro 2000. They involved the eight lowest-ranked runners-up from the nine first-round groups. The four winners of the home-and-away ties qualified for the final tournament in Belgium and the Netherlands. The play-offs were played on 13 and 17 November 1999.

The highest-ranked second-placed team from the groups qualified automatically for Euro 2000, while the other seven second-placed teams entered the play-offs. Because groups had different numbers of teams, results against the fifth and sixth-placed teams were not counted in the ranking. Each team played six matches in the ranking.

The draw to determine the four ties and home/away order was held on 13 October 1999 in Aachen, Germany. There was no seeding; the draw was open.

In the play-offs, England won 2–1 on aggregate, Denmark won 8–0 on aggregate, Slovenia won 3–2 on aggregate, and Turkey advanced on away goals after a 1–1 aggregate.

A total of 18 goals were scored in 8 matches (average 2.25 per match).
