Tumebacillus ginsengisoli is a species of bacteria that is Gram-positive, aerobic, rod-shaped, non-motile, and forms spores. It was first found in soil from a ginseng field in Pocheon, South Korea, and the name comes from that ginseng soil location. It was the second species added to the genus Tumebacillus. The bacterium grows best at 25–30°C and pH 6.0–9.0, but it can grow in a wider range of 25–42°C and pH 5.0–9.0. On R2A agar, it forms white colonies.
