Colleen Rennison
Colleen Rennison (born December 2, 1987) is a Canadian actress, singer, and songwriter from Vancouver, British Columbia. She has Irish, Scottish, and French roots and began acting as a child in 1994 with the film Max, later appearing in TV movies, The Outer Limits, and the American film Carpool. She acted in Unforgettable (1996) and had two roles on Stargate SG-1 (1998 and 2001). In film, she played Erin in The Story of Us (1999) and the young Mona Hibbard in Beautiful (2000).
Rennison earned early Canadian recognition with a Gemini nomination for These Arms of Mine, and she won a Gemini in 2001 for A Feeling Called Glory, becoming the youngest Gemini winner at 13. She appeared in Da Vinci's City Hall (2005) and later acted in American Venus, Boot Camp, Down River, and What Goes Up. Her TV credits include Highlander, Poltergeist: The Legacy, Millennium, and The Sentinel.
In 2005 a CityTV contest led to meeting David Foster, and she performed at his charity gala in Vancouver. She moved to New York in 2008 to study at Circle in the Square, but left the program. Returning to Vancouver, she formed No Sinner, a rock/blues band with Parker Bossley. They released the Boo Hoo Hoo EP and the Boo Hoo Hoo album in 2014. Rennison also released a solo album, See the Sky About to Rain (2014), and Persephone (2023). No Sinner released Old Habits Die Hard (2016). She splits her time between Vancouver, New York, and Los Angeles.
