Tsogbadrakhyn Mönkhzul
Tsogbadrakh Mönkhzul is a Mongolian sport shooter who specializes in the 10 m air pistol and 25 m pistol events. She was born on February 28, 1981, in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, and she stands 1.75 meters tall and weighs about 70 kilograms. She is coached by Altantsetseg.B and Undralbat Lhagva.
Career highlights
- 2007 ISSF World Cup Bangkok: gold in the women’s sport pistol event, totaling 783.3 points.
- 2008 Beijing Olympics: 8th place in the 10 m air pistol (479.6 total; 387 in prelims, 92.6 in the final) and 12th in the 25 m pistol (581 points).
- 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympics: 32nd in the 10 m air pistol (378) and 11th in the 25 m pistol (580), finishing just short of the finals.
- 2022 ISSF World Shooting Championships in Cairo: gold in the 25 m center-fire pistol with 585 points; also earned a medal in the mixed 50 m pistol event.
- Asian Championships: multiple medals over the years, including performances in Tehran (2013) and several team events in Bangkok (2005), Nanjing (2008), Kuwait City (2007), Tehran (2013), and Kuwait City (2015).
